A second career, run like the first
Most people slow down when they retire from the Navy. Our founder started a business.
He chose natural stone: marble, travertine and onyx, cut from the earth and different in every piece. It is a product that rewards patience and punishes shortcuts, and that suited him. Years of service had taught him to prepare well, check the details twice, and do what he said he would do.
Those habits are how Tilefornia works today. We describe each stone plainly. We pack it with care, because it is heavy and fragile. We pick up the phone. And when something goes wrong, we fix it.
We are a small company in Southern California, not a warehouse giant. When you call, you reach people who know the stone.

Say exactly what it is
Every listing names the stone, the size and the finish. You know what is in the box before it leaves us.

Check before it ships
Stone is heavy and it breaks. Before a freight order leaves, we call you to confirm the address, the access and the delivery details.

Natural stone varies from piece to piece. Order free samples and hold the stone in your own light before you commit.

Own the outcome
If we make a mistake or your order arrives damaged, send us photos and we make it right. No restocking fee, no argument.
What we sell
Real stone, not a printed copy of it. We stock marble, travertine and onyx as floor and wall tile, mosaics and matching trim, so one stone can finish a whole room.
