What is quarter round used for?

It softens an edge and hides the gap between tile and wall. It is also used to finish the outside edge of a floor or a step.

Quarter round or bullnose?

Quarter round is a separate piece with a quarter-circle profile that you add along the edge. Bullnose is a rounded edge on the tile itself.

Choose polished or honed to match your tile. If your tile is honed, honed trim looks most natural.
