Natural stone tiles in cream, gray and warm brown, matched with stone trim

Stone Trim & Molding

Trim finishes the edges of your tile job. Pick the piece for where you need it: pencil trim for the top of a backsplash or around a niche, chair rail for the middle of a wall, baseboard where the floor meets the wall, quarter round for an outside corner or floor edge. Each piece comes in the same marble and travertine stones and finishes as our tile, so you can match it. Samples help here, because stone varies from lot to lot. Shipping is free.

How trim is sold

Trim is sold by the piece. Most pieces are 12 inches long, and some travertine pieces are 6 inches, so check the size in the product title. Measure the edge in inches, divide by the piece length, and add one spare piece.

Match the stone

Choose trim in the same stone and finish as your tile, for example honed Ivory travertine trim with honed Ivory travertine tile. Stone changes a little from lot to lot, so a sample of the tile and the trim side by side shows how they match.

Thickness

Pencil trim comes in different thicknesses, such as 3/8, 1/2 and 3/4 inch. A thicker piece stands out more on the wall. The size is in each product title.

Questions people ask

What is pencil trim?

A slim, rounded strip used to finish an edge, often at the top of a backsplash or around a niche. Also called pencil liner.

What is the difference between chair rail and baseboard?

Chair rail runs partway up the wall as a decorative band. Baseboard runs along the bottom where the wall meets the floor.

Can I get trim to match my tile?

Yes. Pick the same stone and finish, such as honed or polished. If you are unsure, send us the tile name and we will help.

How many pieces do I need?
