About this stone
White Thassos marble mosaic tile, cut to 1 3/4x3 3/4 with a honed finish. Thassos is one of the whitest natural marbles available: an almost pure, crystalline white with little or no veining. It gives a crisp, modern look and brightens small spaces.
Small pieces mounted on a mesh backing so they install like a single tile. Mosaics flex around curves and slopes, which makes them ideal for backsplashes and shower floors. Honed: ground smooth to a matte, satin surface — softer looking and less slippery than polished.
Care
Marble is a natural stone: seal it after installation and wipe up acidic spills (lemon, vinegar, wine) quickly to avoid etching. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner.
